BIOGRAPHY
Joe Herzanek is the founder and former president of Changing Lives, which helps families struggling with addiction. He served as the Chaplain at the Boulder County Jail in Boulder, CO, and has over 30 years of experience working in the criminal justice system. Joe has served as a chaplain at various Colorado facilities and as a Certified Addiction Professional.
Joe hosted his TV show, Recovery Television, which featured many nationally known experts from the recovery community. He also created and hosted a radio call-in show, Eye on Addiction Radio. Joe has produced several DVDs, including his most popular: The 10 Toughest Questions Families and Friends Ask About Addiction and Recovery, now streaming on Amazon Prime.
Joe authored the popular, award-winning book Why Don't They Just Quit? Hope for Families Struggling with Addiction.
Joe and his wife Judy have three adult children—Jami, Jake, and Jessica—and enjoy the beautiful Colorado outdoors. Having met at a recovery support meeting, they each now have over 40 years of continuous sobriety.
